Da ‘fakto, an Ahki Canna brand, is an expression of celebration and support of meaningful social change at a local level.
Akhi Cana is one of the few Native American and Black-owned cannabis companies in Michigan,
The product name is a play off of the word "de facto", a legal term used to describe the process of marijuana legalization throughout the 2000s. Grassroots political action and the growth of the cannabis sub-culture have caused cannabis to become socially acceptable and eventually legalized.
The Da ‘fakto brand boldly celebrates the progressive movement by supporting social change. It is a brand created by caregivers that honor and respect the legalization of cannabis and encourage others to fight for social equity.
